President Obama outlined his proposals for immigration reform. His plan included increased border security and penalizing businesses that knowingly hire undocumented workers, an option for the 11 million illegal workers already in the country to earn citizenship, and streamline the current legal immigration system. In his remarks he complimented the efforts of a bi-partisan group of senators who announced their immigration reform plan the previous day but said that if Congress could not pass its own immigration reform legislation “in a timely fashion,” he would send his own bill and “insist that they vote on it right away.” The event took place at Del Sol High School in Southern Las Vegas.

According to Elliptic Labs product manager Morgan Kjolerbakken, the Windows 8 Gesture suite allows users to do all the basic Windows 8 gestures -- such as swiping, scrolling, or making selections, without touching the screen. A slight delay is built into the system, he said, so that it doesn't mistake typing for a touchless gesture.
