Hunting at the Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife AreaThe Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area is a type C area, however, hunt days are Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays during open seasons for authorized species except rabbits may be hunted daily during the September dove season. There are no day use charges to the hunter or visitor, however, voluntary permit cards are available at the Huichica Creek Unit (Buchli Station Rd. parking lot). Brief wildlife area and species regulations are listed below. Junior pheasant and duck hunt information is available here. Complete information can be found in the regulation booklets, available at most sporting goods stores, DFG regional offices, and on the internet. You can also get a map of the area, which is highly recommended information on Junior Hunts

In a new golden age of long-distance train travel, classic luxury tours are more popular than ever, and new routes are opening up some unexplored parts of the world. Table Mountain, South AfricaIt may be almost 80 years since Agatha Christie immortalised the Orient Express in her most famous novel, but it seems that a whole new generation is embracing the concept of train travel for pleasure. For some, this is the result of nostalgic mental snapshots from childhood day trips to the seaside; for others, of Christmas viewings of films such as Some Like it Hot. Personally, I blame Marc Jacobs-clad Adrien Brody in Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited. There’s also the growing trend for a slower, more experiential way of travelling, where the journey is as important as the arrival – a reaction against those ridiculous long-haul short breaks that have become so popular among ‘high rollers’ over the past few years. And then there is the sheer number of opportunities out there – from the ‘luxury touring train’ servi

Buy a Bike by alexey Jun 1, 2013
While buying a bike is not on the same level of commitment as, say, getting married, it is still a decision that warrants some thought. And, especially if you are considering buying a bike for the first time, it can seem as if your options are nearly endless.

Mehendi (Lawsonia inermis) is a small tropical shrub, whose leaves when dried and ground into a paste, give out a rusty-red pigment, suitable for making intricate designs on the palms and feet. The dye has a cooling property, and no side effects on the skin. Mehendi is extremely suitable for creating intricate patterns on various parts of the body, and a painless alternative to permanent tattoos.

Paddling over whirlpools of turbulent water and watching the landscapes go by can be such an adrenaline rush. Aside from the high energy buzz, white water rafting also makes for an exciting way to explore and immerse deeply in the backcountry.

It’s Easter egg decorating time and considering that it is basically impossible to get white-shelled eggs in Australia, this year I went with a slightly different presentation of the pastel kind. Mainly because last year we spent a gazillion hours at the local supermarket picking through ALL of the egg boxes to get a dozen light beige ones – the closest to white we could find.

Of course dance is a sport! It meets all of the requisites of a sport. It has rules and regulations, requires skill and concentration, it is physically demanding, and it is competitive. Why do people say that because dance is an art, it cannot also be a sport? Figure skating and gymnastics are Olympic sports as well as art forms. Dancers train, compete and have goals just like other athletes.
