New Dresses for Spring 2013 by alexey ,  Apr 5, 2013
You might expect Roberto Cavallis spring show to be a full-on cavalcade of animal print and sexy dresses with not much room for nuancing such alien fashion forces as the new covering up and big trousers. Yet, surprise: for perhaps two-thirds of the show, Cavalli showed his acquaintance with such potentially antisexy ideas as long tunics over trousers; the importance of having shirttails cover the rear; the new, stiffly wide-cut sleeve; and the mannish trouser.
There's something to be said for the looks you can wear every day, but the skin-revealing cuts and leg-revealing slits coming down the runway at NYFW appeal to another styling sense altogether — inspiring the sexiest takes on Spring dressing. With that in mind, we're taking a look back at the most attention-getting dresses from our favorite New York shows — some done up with bombshell, curve-hugging fits, others made sultrier with a thigh-high slit.

Sheer paneling, body-con silhouettes, sequins, high slits — that's what Milan Fashion Week's sexiest dresses and gowns were all about. Such pieces aren't made for everyday wear, but a girl can always dream, right? To get your imagination going, we culled the hottest looks straight from the runway for you to pore over; think Donatella Versace's bold colors and thigh-baring hemlines, Roberto Cavalli's romantic, rock 'n' roll minis, and Moschino's metallic shifts. Ready for more? See all of sexiest dresses and gowns from Milan Fashion Week right now!

Who says spring has to be all about Pretty Young Things in flirty floral dresses? This morning's BCBG show kicked off the season with some intensely sexy black and white dresses, and these are our favorites...
The Paris fashion week is always colorful and sexy, also attractive. From Alexander McQueen's wasp waist design, Jean Paul Gaultier's retro DISCO party to Giambattista Valli lightsome sway, which brings people more fashion choice. From tight body corsage to fold stack, from neutral hearty to sexy lace, all kinds of elements in Paris T stage which is too many things to see. Let us look at 2013 Spring-Summer Paris T stage sexy beauty dresses!

Such a sexy black dress. Alberta Ferretti spring 2013

If New York Fashion Week gave us the drop waist and the LLD (Little Lace Dress) for spring, now London Fashion Week is bringing a whole new set of trends.

Roksanda Illincic, who's dressed Kate Middleton, Amber Heard, Kate Bosworth and many other Hollywood actresses, is usually sexy and red carpet ready. But for spring, she's added volume and even more color blocking to her look -- plus collars and cuffs -- the sure sign of the schoolgirl look.

Bebe’s Spring 2013 presentation, however, was a delightful surprise. Colorful leathers in various demure silhouettes were viewable through circular cutouts inside something like a display case, as though we were simultaneously window shopping and appreciating fine art.

Ladylike details dominated the collection- Box pleats on skirts and dresses -all of which had quite impressive hemlines, short enough to be sexy but long enough to assure the wearer she won’t be participating in a peep show that evening. Only two of the looks sported necklines low enough for a display of décolletage. A few “tight enough to show you’re a woman, but loose enough to show you’re a lady” cocktail dresses were in the mix (yes, Edith Head would approve). This collection was nothing like the store windows full of micro-mini-everything I remember at the mall as a teenager in the early 2000’s, this was something much more mature.

The one thing you can be sure of from a Victoria Beckham collection is clean lines, modern silhouettes, and of course her signature fitted dresses.

For Spring 2013 those signature dress were uber sexy with lighter fabrics, sheer yokes, lace inserts, dramatic cuts and bralets giving the dresses a lingerie-inspired feel.

Those of you saying her collections tend to be one-note will be delighted to see that VB introduced a mix of separates this season. Tailored blazers, A-line skirts, button-down blouses, cigarette pants, and miniskirts showed how the VB brand continues to evolve and grow. Plus it also proved that the designer listens to her customers and doesn’t just design for herself.

On a colour palette of black, white, nude and pops of bright orange, we also saw maxi dresses and sporty mini dresses with skater skirts and pleated hemlines, one of which Victoria wore when she took her bow.

This season we didn’t see as many bags, as VB showcased a selection of clutches with two chain-accented shoulder bags with studded details closing the show.

After working with many shoe designers in the past, VB teamed up with Manolo Blahnik on this occasion. They created sexy open-toe booties, some two-tone, flat lace-up sandals and two-tone brogues.

NYFW: Samantha Pleet Spring 2013 Collection "Sands of Time"

Every once in a while an artist creates something that actually stays with you. Samantha Pleet's Spring 2013 Collection "Sands of Time sticks like oats to your ribs, and keeps you fully satisfied with the poignant pleasure of a vintage treasure gone awry. Pleet's fertile crescent inspired garments are works of whimsy, playing in the vast openness of the "vintage inspired" genre like a child in the dirt. While your mind initially travels backwards with modest silhouettes and muted hues, the collection's details elude to a post-apocalyptic world in which nothing is impossible, the understated is sexy and Samantha Pleet is queen.Samantha Pleet at her Spring 2013 Collection "Sands of time" Presentation at NYFW September 2012.

Kate Moss Debuts in Striking Stuart Weitzman Spring 2013 Campaign

The Weitzman campaign, already regarded as breaking new ground for the industry with a unique visual vocabulary, becomes iconic with the “Kate” factor. The rare chemistry between photographer and subject is evident in the campaign shots. With its black & white photography, the imagery highlights the fact that Stuart Weitzman’s are the first thing you put on in the morning and the last thing you take off at night. In the Stuart Weitzman world, sexy means being comfortable and confident in your own skin. The campaign captures the sexiness of the brand in a natural, classic, chic way while clearly showcasing the stiletto and shoe styles.
